Metallic aftertaste

Yesterday I wrote that I had been lucky not to experience the 'metallic aftertaste' that most chemo patients get. Correction. :)

Orange juice and yogurt give me a dour chemical aftertaste, and I can't taste either so they are awful tasting. I'll be avoiding them in the near future.

After chemo, you will want to experiment with different foods, as your taste 'fingerprint' will be unique to you. Be prepared to be surprised with what you can taste.. and all be prepared to throw out a lot of food that you just can't taste.
