The Amyloidosis Support Network

The Amyloidosis Support Network is a group dedicated to the education and care of amyloidosis patients from around the world. Programs include a helpline, support groups, website, medical community awareness, consultations, advocacy for amyloidosis awareness and treatment. Their website was a major help in providing me accurate information on the disease, and getting me the resources I needed to manage my treatment this summer.

Being a rare disease, there are so very few amyloidosis resources out there. Every amyloidosis patient and caregiver will share with you their frustration and desperation on getting the help they need after a diagnosis. There are so many questions and so few answers. What is this disease? How did I get it? Where do I go from here? Groups like the ASN provide a helping hand and support when they need it most.
