Gone But Not Forgotten

Gentle readers, please forgive me, for I have sinned. (No, I didn't go on a bender last weekend.) What I mean is that I haven't been keeping up with my weekly quota of posts, and the guilt has truly been keeping me up all night.

I head off to the cardiologist later this morning to get the results of my trigylceride tests, and to see if we've finally gotten them under control. Worst case scenario: they up my niacin dose and I remain alcohol-free for another month.

Another step to recovery: Yesterday I took an all-day business trip for the first time since last April. I spent the day in New York City to meet a work colleague. I was going for about 18 hours. Ok, so it's not running a marathon, but throw me a bone and give me a little credit :)

Stay tuned...
