Robert Jordan

It is with great sadness that I report that Robert Jordan passed away yesterday afternoon. Jordan was a distinguished fantasy writer who had been battling cardiac amyloidosis for the last couple of years.

I never read any of his books, but was a regular reader of his blog (which is available to you on the "Patient Blogs" section on the right-hand side of this page). He was very open with his illness and his recovery, and always kept a positive attitude in his postings. He will be missed.
